Cross Continent Pageant Promotes Culture, Leadership and Drug Awareness

A multicultural beauty pageant in Dublin recently brought together contestants, community representatives and cultural performers for an event focused on both personal achievement and social responsibility.

Held at the Church of Scientology & Community Centre in Dublin, the gathering featured 24 contestants from seven different nations and an audience of about 450 people.

The pageant was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd., with support from Broccoli Care Ltd. and cooperation from The Truth About Drugs Ireland.

Participants were invited to explore educational materials explaining the risks and effects associated with drug abuse. Some participants completed all fourteen educational modules, demonstrating that their preparation went beyond the traditional pageant format.

The Mayor of South Dublin praised the contestants for using their public platform to promote informed choices and stronger communities.

The afternoon also included Irish, Indian and Indonesian dance performances, reflecting the international character of the gathering.

At the Dublin end of the competition, Niveditha Vudayagiri was named Miss Cross Continent 2026. Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina and Yuki Yuliatin completed the top three as first and second runners-up.
